Farming and building projects

One of our previous volunteers

Some projects build their own house, others farm.

It depends on the plans of the projects whether they need volunteers with skills in building and construction.


Some of the children's homes have farms. This ranges from biological small scale/garden farming for private use to 10/11 acre farms that provide income for the projects. If you have special skills in agriculture you’re more than welcome in one of the projects.

KOMAZA is an award-winning non-profit social enterprise working to end rural poverty by developing economic opportunties for smallholder farmers living in Ganze district, Kilifi. They are looking for three volunteers/interns: one for an Agro-Forestry Harvesting summer internship, Video Production Summer internship and GPS Mapping summer internship.
