| Do you want to learn to speak Kiswahili? Kenya Xperience! offers a few options to learn to speak Kiswahili and to discover and to appreciate African culture. We offer beginners, intermediate and advanced courses. The courses can be done in Nairobi and the Coast Province (not available at the moment). Swahili in a homestay in Nairobi Nancy Waweru will teach you all you want to know about culture and Kiswahili. She organises a homepackage that takes a month. In the morning she’ll teach you Kiswahili. In the afternoon you can study or explore Nairobi. The home package costs € 800,- including transport from the airport, accoommodation, meals, Kiswahili lessons, materials, access to the ESAC libraray and a certificate. You stay with Nancy and perhaps also with other students so that you have a good opportunity to practice also outside the lessons. Swahili in Nairobi If you have or organise your own accommodation you can also book the “office package”. This includes transport from the airport, Kiswahili lessons, materials, use of the ESAC libraby and a certificate. Costs are € 350,- for a month. The lessons take three hours per day. This gives you time to meet Kenyan outside the programme and practice what you’ve learned. |
