Kenya Xperience!

Pwani conservation program is a new grassroots non profit program set up to support both coastal communities and sea turtle conservation work. It’s run by local people. The programme is a standard 30-day program in which you will travel to Mombasa, the Tana Delta, Funzi Island and Wasini Island individual or in a small group of volunteers from different ages and backgrounds.

Mombasa, 2 nights
First introduction to Kenya, staying with a traditional herbalist, learning about Swahili history, sightseeing the historic town

Kipini island, 21 nights
Volunteering with the local sea turtle conservation group, patrolling or nesting turtles during the night, canoe rides on the Tana

Funzi Island, 7 nights
Conservation work with the Funzi turtle club

Wasini Island, 1 night
Spotting dolphins, snorkelling along the coral reef
watching monkeys in the coastal forest
